Jewel Spiegel Gallery
My grandmother, Jewel Spiegel, just launched her new website: www.jewelspiegelgallery.com.
Her gallery, located in Englewood, New Jersey, specializes in custom framing and has an incredible collection of fine art and gifts.

I have many happy memories of spending time in her gallery as a child and I'm sure after 45 years of being in business, my grandmother will have a lot of interesting things to share on her blog: Diary of a Gallery Owner.

The First Round of Christmas Sweets
Peanut butter balls with luster dust. Recipe from allrecipes.com.
I shined them up with luster dust from Country Kitchen because I have trouble making anything without putting luster dust on it.

Play With Your Food
I made these playing card and poker chip cookies as a birthday gift.
First, I iced the cookies in white, let them dry completely, and then finished the decoration with edible markers. White royal icing dries with a smooth finish, which makes it easy to draw clean lines without worrying about the colors bleeding.
